About

Justine grew up on a dairy farm in Dublin, TX. She earned her Associates of Science from Cuesta College and later completed a bachelor’s degree in dairy science from CalPoly in San Luis Obispo, California. After graduation, she took a position at a dairy in Dalhart, Texas. She developed and managed the calf program, growing it from 400 to 14,000 calves during her 6 years on staff. Her management responsibility spanned ages 0-200 days for both beef and Jersey cross calves. In her new role at DNMC, Justine consults on farms in the maternity area along with a focus on calf management under the Golden Heifer Development program. Her past experience as a calf ranch manager gives her unique tools to understand what it takes to develop a successful calf program, grow healthy calves, and manage a workforce. Justine continues to live in Dalhart with her husband Len and their daughter Joha.
